the last few weeks have been rather interesting.
Though it was never my own interest the politics and reality of a new medical turn of events is of little interest (i am a science expert of sorts many years had a large library of good science - evolutionary biology. psychology, the philosophy of science, and headfuckery of theoretical physics..)
but immediately spring 2020 i monitored and had many chronicled interactions with people - including many face to face discussions, on the messaging, some may call propaganda, and then it seemed suppression of various sceptical viewpoints...
i have many intelligently sceptical acquaintances(NON 'rightwing' - as i am a progressive egalitarian to the core interested always in universal human rights via even larger library starting with John Pilger et al... DRAKULIC They would never hurt a fly... my bible... i was privileged to put a copy in the hands of my Libdem MP Paul Keetch in mid 2000s as he was a TRUE supporter of me... gave me many moral support meetups... )
But their inability to focus even summer 2020 when a fair few were smelling a rat, focus on the simple basic fundamentals of free speech ...well... it makes me realise even more we need good literary of filmic stuff on the real basics of WHY always it should be indivisible... maybe societies do need to be reminded every few decades. In my youth Solzhenitsyn and why he had to seek exile abroad was such an important symbolic story regularly in the news.
Anyway... what is INTERESTING is how various people i have had an eye on just out of interest seem to have at last 'woken up' ...
I never believe in ' conspiracy theories' of the tin foil hat brigade. But there is often some truth behind contrary opinion to the 'mainstream'. Or sometimes the mainstream is completely wrong (i could have been a child of Thalidomide - was made about that time)...
Anyway splendid how at last even some VERY VERY snotty people who were very un0pleasant iof one even h9nted scepticism, i now see are 'posting' things like this or even harsher material which suggests there may have been a not very good scientific response... and loads of utter mad spin
and even more important some more sensationalised but deep down scientifically robust 'truth'.

half an hour in actually going through the official 'data' with a red biro hahh hahh....
But it is the way ordinary people around and about have been TERRIFIED to even talk about the various different sides of an issue that i have found interesting....and sometimes even dangerous.. the visceral disdain in people who have been so unpleasant speaking of things actually based on scientific research by experts in the public domain ...if it doesnt quite fit in with their Sky tv or bbc aoroach....my my the true anger in their wobbly faces...
